Dr. Catrina M. Jones

Prior to consulting, Catrina was Senior Program Manager of Customer Care Operations at CareerBuilder. Catrina has also served as Project Leader of Drug Stability Operations at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Research Chemist at DuPont Corporation, and R&D Chemist at Dow Corning Corporation. Catrina’s most notable accomplishments are her contributions towards the development and launch of pharmaceutical drugs, such as the Ophthalmic Allergy drug, Zaditor®.
Catrina attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Catrina also completed her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. Catrina earned an Executive Doctorate in Business from Georgia State University  J. Mack Robinson College of Business.  

Catrina’s dissertation topic is Pharmaceutical Portfolio Management in the Context of a Merger.  In addition, Catrina is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certified Six Sigma Black Belt through the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, and a certified Scrum Master.  Catrina was recently recognized by the CIO of MARTA for leading a technological continuous improvement effort that saved the organization $5.9M. Additionally, Catrina was awarded the “Top Portfolio Manager Award” for Technology at MARTA in 2012.  Catrina was named, “Top Performing Manager” for two consecutive quarters while at CareerBuilder. Catrina received numerous awards while at Novartis for her many contributions towards research.  MARTA Police most recently honored Catrina with the “Civilian Award” for her outstanding leadership in portfolio management.  Catrina currently serves on the Project Management Industry Advisory Committee at DeVry University/Keller Graduate School of Management.
